GROTTO NEWS
Greetings Prophets and Ladies,The zoning hearing for the property at 7620 S. Madison Ave. is scheduled for April 24. The attorney has informed me that our liquor license can be transfered to the new property. All of this could be finished by the end of the month. This is just the start of the process to get us a new grotto home, but were moving in the right direction.
The Childrens Easter party went very well. There was about 15 kids at the party. They all got plenty of candy and prizes.
The Valintine dance and St.Patrick dance were very enjoyable and well attended. There was 46 at the Valintines dance and 56 at the St.Patricks dance. Thanks to all that attended, it was a good time. Let's keep it going for the next dance which is the mini-patrol dance on May 10 at the Gatlin Gun Club. This is a dinner and dance with dinner at 6:00pm and the dance at 8:00pm.
We have started the Enchanted Lantern program for this year. With the selling of lanterns at the St.Patricks dance. We will also be selling them at the Mini-Patrol dance. Thanks for your support of this program.
The dinner group is meeting once a month for dinner. There has been great turnouts for these dinners. The first dinner was at the Old Country Buffet and the last was at the Blueberry Hill Cafe. There was about 50 at each dinner. The next dinner is at the Olive Garden on E. Wasington St. at 6:30pm on April 24. Thanks Bob and Eunie keep up the good work.
The officers will be holding a short form ceremonial at the Gatlin Gun Club May 10 5:00pm just before the mini-patrol dinner and dance all prophets are welcome to attend.
